ISA

ISA -- (Industry Standard Architecture)
An old, 16-bit bus specification associated with IBM's AT style motherboard. ISA slots which provide low band width peripheral connections to a computer's processor are largely disappearing in favor of newer peripheral connection standards such as AGP and PCI. Currently new computers will still come with one ISA however.
